132kV EEC Sinceni OHL

Sinceni – Ndzevane: Our journey in high-voltage overhead line construction began in 2019 on the 132kV Sinceni–Ndzevane powerline project at Ncandweni, developed by the Eswatini Electricity Company (EEC), the national power utility and regulator. This foundational project exposed our team to critical powerline construction practices, including working safely at heights, foundation construction for monopoles, pole erection, and conductor stringing. It laid a strong technical and safety-driven foundation that shaped our growth and competence in overhead line works.

132kV EEC Dwaleni OHL

Dwaleni – Stonehenge: This project marked a significant milestone in our development. The 132kV steel lattice line located between Dwaleni (Malkerns) and Stonehenge, Mbabane, allowed our team to gain hands-on experience in assembling and erecting steel lattice towers using crane operations. We further expanded our technical expertise through the use of stringing equipment, including pullers and tensioners, with particular focus on accurate conductor regulation after stringing to meet operational standards.

Training

132kV Stonehenge Mbabane OHL

Stonehenge, Mbabane: We were also engaged on a specialized section of the 132kV steel lattice line at Stonehenge, Mbabane, under contractor SLS. Our responsibilities included the assembly and erection of steel lattice towers, as well as conductor stringing and precise regulation. This project further strengthened our ability to work under different contractors while maintaining high safety, quality, and performance standards.

132kV Lephalale Solar Project OHL

EXXARO Lephalale: On this project, our team was appointed as a dedicated stringing and regulation crew. We successfully executed conductor stringing and regulation across approximately 3km of steel lattice towers and an additional 3km of 132kV monopoles, forming the connection between the Exxaro Solar Farm and the Eskom substation. We were also entrusted with the stringing and regulation of all OPGW phases, highlighting our capability in handling both power and communication conductors.

33kV OYA Solar Project OHL

OYA PV – Breede River DC: We are currently part of a professional stringing team working on a double-circuit 33kV monopole line connecting wind farms to the main solar power station in the Western Cape. Our scope of work includes the installation of insulators and running blocks, conductor stringing, and final line regulation. This ongoing project reflects our continued involvement in renewable energy infrastructure and medium-voltage overhead line construction.
